Sundays 8:15pm to 9:30pm...Emily Denton teaches Yoga Nidra at the Vajra on Tenth. Yoga Nidra known as "Dream Yoga" and sometimes referred to as ‘yogic sleep,’ is a restorative meditation that guides you into conscious awareness of each part of the body for deep and effortless relaxation. Yoga Nidra is not about falling asleep. Rather, Yoga Nidra induces a deep state of relaxation and inner awareness. The talented Emily Denton is the creator of local Seattle DIY yoga zine and community "Poseurs". She also leads Practice School of Magic's Yoga Teacher Training. Yoga Nidra is appropriate and beneficial for all levels of yoga practitioner. Beginners welcome.
