Noah Levine is the author of Dharma Punx, Against The Stream, The Heart of the Revolution and Refuge Recovery. Noah is the founding teacher of Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society, with centers in Los Angeles and San Francisco and over 20 affiliated groups around North America. He teaches meditation classes, workshops and retreats internationally. Noah, along with other teachers at A.T.S has created a Buddhist approach to addiction recovery called Refuge Recovery, with over 350 peer-led meetings worldwide as well as a dedicated Refuge Recovery treatment center.
Rachael Savage, has been studying and practicing the dharma since 1995, and leading Buddhist meditation sits since 1998. Rachael is the co-founder of Rebel Saints Meditation Society Seattle and currently leads two weekly sits in the heart of Seattle.
Since the founding of Rebel Saints 4 years ago Rachael has been working to bring the Dharma Punx and Against the Stream style of teaching to the Great Pacific Northwest. In addition to Noah Levine, Rebel Saints has hosted Vinny Ferraro, Mary Stancavage, Chris Crotty, Joseph Rogers, Steve Dansiger and Cheryl Slean of Against the Stream.
